This initiative supports climate change mitigation, with funding negotiations currently underway with the Green Climate Fund. Additionally, we've secured a 25-year agreement with the Government of Sierra leone to develop 54,000 hectares of land for irrigation & rice production. This project aims to boost the country's rice self-sufficiency & deliver robust returns. While funding from Turkish partners is pending, we are actively seeking financial partners to bolster and support this transformative initiative.
Mining & Mineral Processing
FS Group has significant expertise in diamond mining, having established a cutting & polishing factory in Kenema & trained 30 Sierra Leoneans in diamond refinement. Over a span of just three years, Mr. Yarjah & his team successfully exported a remarkable Eight Hundred and Seventy-Two (872) 20-foot dry containers of zircon ore exclusively to mainland China. This significant achievement not only positioned F.S. Group as a leader in the zircon industry, but also marked a milestone in Sierra Leone's mineral export sector.
